Jon’s career has spanned working in public mental health, psychology training and research, and private practice. This has provided experience in a range of areas, including: outpatient treatment, crisis assessment and hospital admissions, triage, risk assessment, supervision of colleagues and students, complex case consultation to general practitioners, team leadership, clinic management and co-ordination, as well as conducting research into mental health, psychological treatment and psychologists’ training. He also teaches psychological treatment and psychopathology and regularly presents his work at psychotherapy seminars.

  • The length of therapy is tailored to what each person would like and what is effective, given the problem
