Background and Experience
Robyn has over twenty years of experience in the profession; she has worked in varied settings including juvenile justice, child protection, school counselling, medical surgeries, and private practice.
In addition to her clinical work, Robyn works with individuals and students in a supervisory role and has been involved in the implementation and running of psychotherapeutic group programs. She is a committee member of the Psychoanalytically Oriented Psychologists Interest Group of the Australian Psychological Society. She acts as a consultant and supervisor for individuals and groups in private practice, and in the professional development, supervision, and training of psychologists and psychotherapists.
In her role as the Assistant Director of The Big Tent Project she is engaged in metropolitan and rural supervision and training of Early Intervention Professionals who are involved in work with children under five and their families who have been affected by trauma. In the past she has been invited to lecture in this area in Romania and presented at conferences and seminars on work with troubled children and their families.
