As a Clinical Psychologist, and the Director of Community Programs and Partnerships, Julijana brings to the Cairnmillar Institute her experience as a Psychologist and extensive work in research involving the biochemical aspects of the brain in the Neuroendocrinology Unit at Monash Medical. Coupled with over 10 years’ experience as the Founding Director of an international company, she demonstrates a strong understanding and knowledge of leading a team and working innovatively towards a common cause.
For several years Julijana has had a direct leadership role in the Cairnmillar Institute’s S.A.G.E. Program for people 55-105 years of age, with its focus in “Successful Ageing” with growth and enjoyment. The program is designed to prevent everyday problems from converting into serious conditions like clinical anxiety and depression. She has also designed and continues to deliver, programs covering areas such as the emotional needs of older adults, to staff of Aged Care Facilities across Victoria.
